Dr. David S. Williams, D.C., C.C.S.P.
Dr. David S Williams received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Pace University and continued his studies to receive his Doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College, graduating with honors. During his studies, Dr. Williams had the privilege of completing a residency with Dr. Donald Murphy of the Rhode Island Spine Center. There, he participated in several research projects on the effects of spinal manipulation and neuro-mobilization in the treatment of spinal stenosis as well as manipulation and rehabilitation in the treatment of cervical radiculopathy. He has been published in the Journal of the American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Williams is a certified provider in Active Release Technique, Graston Technique, and Biomechanical analysis. He has also taken many courses on sport injuries, rehabilitation, and nutrition. Dr Williams has treated competitors at the Lake Placid Iron Man Triathlon, NCAA indoor track and Field event, Central park triathlon and several other sporting events.
Dr. Williams takes a functional as well as proactive approach to treating musculoskeletal pain. Using multiple techniques along with Chiropractic and rehabilitation, his objective is to empower the patient to take responsibility for his/her health and to prevent injuries and improve athletic performance.
